His credentials include: ATP-eligible Commercial Pilot with instrument, single- and multi-engine ratings; 2,500+ total hours with extensive turbine and jet experience; type rated in the Cessna CE-500 series; and current in Beech King Air 90 and B100. With diverse operational expertise in aerobatic, mountain, canyon, and high-altitude flying, Mark brings both technical skill and seasoned judgment to every flight.

His flying is also philanthropic—supporting organizations such as Angel Flight, Samaritan Aviation, and the Veteran’s Airlift Command, using aviation to serve others.

Beyond the cockpit, Mark is a proven entrepreneur who built and sold MedEx, Inc., one of the nation’s largest medical stop-loss insurance wholesalers. Then lead multiple mergers and acquisitions building the largest stop-loss wholesaler in the United States. His leadership created millions in enterprise value while building lasting constituent and partner trust.
